To toggle the attenuation for a trunking site on or off Hold on the site and press then 7(ATT). Press HOLD to resume. To toggle the attenuation for a search on or off (Search with Scan) press then 7(ATT) while searching (or hold on the search first). To toggle global attenuation Hold on any channel and press then press and hold 7(ATT). To toggle the modulation for a conventional channel or trunked site Hold on the channel/site and press then 9(MOD). Press Hold to resume. To toggle the modulation for a service/custom search press then 9(MOD) while searching (or hold first). To toggle the volume offset for a conventional channel Hold on the channel and press then 5(LVL) to toggle the desired offset. Press HOLD to resume. To check for a repeater frequency on a conventional channel Hold on the channel. Press then press and hold 8(REV). Press HOLD to resume. To toggle Intermediate Frequency Exchange for a conventional channel on or off Hold on the channel and press then 4(IFX). Press HOLD to resume. To toggle Priority Modes press PRI to toggle Priority on, Priority Plus on, or Off. To toggle Weather Alert Priority on or off press WX. To toggle Close Call Modes press SQ( ). To view and listen to a Close Call hit (CC Override Off) press E/ to listen to and view the frequency (only if it's still there). To go to a channel number tag in the current system/site Hold on the system. Enter the channel number tag and press MENU. See also Using Number Tags. To go to a channel number tag in a different system Hold on any channel. Enter the system number tag, press .No, the channel number tag, then MENU. To go to a system/search number tag, hold on any channel. Enter the system/search number tag, press .No, then MENU. To unlock a conventional channel see Locking/Unlocking Channels. To unlock a conventional system/trunked site/search press and hold to 'lock' function mode then scroll to the system/site/search and press L/O to unlock.
