X Maintaining The Print Head You can print a nozzle check pattern to check whether each print head is operating properly, and then clean or align the print head. Flowchart Of Print Head Maintenance Step 1 Print the nozzle check pattern. This pattern enables you to check whether the ink is ejecting from the print head nozzles correctly and whether the print head is aligned.
