HP Customer Participation Program After the product is installed, you have the option of participating in HP's voluntary program for communication between your system and HP. This feature, available through software that is included on the printing-system software installation CD, helps HP monitor toner usage. At the time of the invitation, about two weeks after installation, full disclosure of the information to be communicated is provided. Participation is entirely voluntary, and the impact on processing and connection speeds is negligible. Personal information is never sent to HP unless permission is given.
