Page 71 highlights

Some options have device drivers that you must install. See the documentation that comes with each option for information about installing device drivers. The server comes with at least one microprocessor on the microprocessor tray assembly. If more than one microprocessor is installed, the server can operate as a symmetric multiprocessing (SMP) server. You might have to upgrade the operating system to support SMP. For more information, see the section about using the ServerGuide Setup and Installation CD in the User's Guide and the operating-system documentation. If the server has an optional RAID adapter and you have installed or removed a hard disk drive, see the documentation that comes with the RAID adapter for information about reconfiguring the disk arrays. If you have installed a Remote Supervisor Adapter to manage the server remotely, see the Remote Supervisor Adapter User's Guide, which comes with the adapter, for information about setting up, configuring, and using the adapter. For information about configuring the integrated Gigabit Ethernet controller, see the User's Guide. I/O connectors Your server has the following input/output (I/O) connectors: v Serial (1, rear) v Gigabit Ethernet (2, rear) v Keyboard (1, rear) v Mouse (1, rear) v USB (2, rear; 1, front - on operator information panel) v RXE expansion (1, rear) v RXE management (1, rear) v SCSI (1, rear) The Remote Supervisor Adapter II has the following connectors: v Remote Supervisor Adapter II Ethernet (1, rear) v Remote Supervisor Adapter II video (1, rear) v Remote Supervisor Adapter II ASM (1, rear) v Remote Supervisor Adapter II USB (reserved) The following illustration shows the USB connector on the operator information panel on the front of the server.
