The tabs on the top of the insulators engage the plastic retainer section of the bracket. Power-supply structure This section contains information about removing and replacing the power-supply structure. Note: v v v Read "Installation guidelines" on page 29. Read "Safety information" on page 147. Read "Handling static-sensitive devices" on page 30. Complete the following steps to remove the power-supply structure: 1. Turn off the server and all peripheral devices; then, disconnect all power cords and external cables. 2. Remove the top cover (see "Removing the cover and bezel" on page 32). 3. Remove the fans (see "Replacing a hot-swap fan" on page 55). 4. Remove the memory cassette (see "Installing a microprocessor" on page 44). 5. Remove the power supplies (see "Installing a hot-swap power supply" on page 51). 6. Pull the two blue latches ( 1 ) on the power-supply structure toward the front of the server; the structure will disengage from the chassis. Latches Handle 7. Grasp the handle in the middle of the structure and rotate the back of the structure up ( 2 ), allowing the structure to pivot at the end closest to the front of the chassis. 8.
