2JN Maintenance item No. Description U425 Setting the target Description Enters the lab values that is indicated on the back of the chart (P/N: 302FZ56990) used for adjustment. Purpose Performs data input in order to correct for differences in originals during automatic adjustment. Method 1. Press the start key. 2. Select the item to be set using the cursor up/down keys. Select the item to be set using the cursor up/down keys. Enters the value that is indicated on the back of the chart using the cursor left/right keys or numeric keys. 5. Press the start key. The value is set. 6. To return to the screen for selecting an item, press the stop key. Setting: [ADJUST ORIGINAL] 1. Measure the distance from the left edge to the black belt (a) of the original at A, B and C. Measurement procedure 1) Measure the distance from the edge to the black belt (a) of the original at A (30 mm from the leading edge), B (148.5 mm from the leading edge) and C (267 mm from the leading edge), respectively. 2) Apply the following formula for the values obtained: ((A + C) / 2 + B) / 2 2. Enter the values solved using the cursor left/right keys or numeric keys in [MAIN]. 3. Press the start key. The value is set. 4. Measure the distance from the leading edge to the black belt (b) of the original at D, E and F. Measurement procedure 1) Measure the distance from the edge to the black belt (b) of the original at D (35 mm from the left edge), E (110 mm from the left edge) and F (185 mm from the left edge), respectively. 2) Apply the following formula for the values obtained: ((D + F) / 2 + E) / 2 5. Enter the values solved using the cursor left/right keys or numeric keys in [SUB LEAD]. 6. Press the start key. The value is set. 7. Measure the length (G) from the edge of the black belt (b) to edge of the black belt (c) of the original. 8. Enter the measured value using the cursor left/right keys or numeric keys in [SUB TAIL]. 9. Press the start key. The value is set. 10. To return to the screen for selecting an item, press the stop key. 1-3-46
