Introduction Do not use the Bluetooth within 9 inches (22 cm) of persons with a heart pacemaker implant or defibrillator implant. Failure to maintain this distance can cause a malfunction of the pacemaker due to radio interference. Do not use the Bluetooth near an automated controlling device, such as an automatic door or fire alarm. Failure to do so can cause an accident due to radio interference with the automated controlling device. Immediately discontinue use of the Bluetooth if it causes radio interference with other devices. Continued use of the Bluetooth can cause other devices to malfunction and thereby create an accident.
