10 Troubleshooting Display Meaning Suggested Solutions Stop Pressed The Stop/Clear button has been pressed during a copy or fax operation. Try again. Toner Empty The print cartridge has run out. Replace the print cartridge with a new one. See Replacing the Print Cartridge on page 9-7. Note: A used cartridge will not reset this message. Toner Low The toner is almost empty. Take out the print cartridge and gently shake it. By doing this, you can temporarily re-establish printing operations. See Redistributing Print Cartridge Toner on page 9-6. Hsync Error There is a serious problem in your machine. Turn the machine off and back on. If the problem persists, please call for service. Scan Stopped The Stop/Clear button has been pressed during a network scanning job. Try again. Aborting.. Scan to email job is aborted by pressing Stop/Clear button. Try again. Send Error (SMTP) SMTP Server CONN. Failure There is a problem in SMTP. Change to the available server. Send Error (DNS) There is a problem in DNS. Configure the DNS setting.
