Adapter queries 3 Adapter queries Use BCU commands to list and query available adapters seen by the driver. The bcu adapter --list command lists all adapters on the system with a brief summary of information such as model number, serial number, and adapter number. Enter the following command: adapter --list where: list Lists all adapters in the system. For each adapter in the system, a brief information line displays containing the adapter type, model number, serial number, and hardware path. The adapter --query command displays adapter information, such as the current version of the adapter, adapter type, adapter (chip revision) and driver (fw version), maximum port speed, model information, serial number, number of ports, PCIe information, pwwn, nwwn, hardware path, flash information (such as firmware version), BIOS version, EFI version, current power mode, and port information (PWWN, NWWN, beacon status). adapter --query where: ad_id ID of the adapter for which you want to query. Adapter queries
Use BCU commands to list and query available adapters seen by the driver.
The
bcu adapter --list
command lists all adapters on the system with a brief summary of
information such as model number, serial number, and adapter number. Enter the following
command:
adapter --list
where:
list
Lists all adapters in the system. For each adapter in the system, a brief
information line displays containing the adapter type, model number, serial
number, and hardware path.
The
adapter --query
command displays adapter information, such as the current version of the
adapter, adapter type, adapter (chip revision) and driver (fw version), maximum port speed, model
information, serial number, number of ports, PCIe information, pwwn, nwwn, hardware path, flash
information (such as firmware version), BIOS version, EFI version, current power mode, and port
