There is no limit on the number of lines. Default The Dell EMC default MOTD banner is displayed after you log in. Command Mode CONFIGURATION Usage Information • • To enter a MOTD banner text, use the interactive mode. Enter the command with the delimiter character and press Enter. Then enter each line and press Enter. Complete the banner configuration by entering a line that contains only the delimiter character. Starting and ending double-quotation marks are not necessary. To delete a login banner and reset it to the Dell EMC default banner, use the no banner motd command. To disable banner display before login, use the banner motd disable command.
