Usage Information If you configure this command and the neighbor receives more prefixes than the configuration allows, the neighbor goes down. To view the prefix information, use the show ip bgp summary command. The neighbor remains down until you use the clear ip bgp command for the neighbor or the peer group to which the neighbor belongs. The no version of this command resets the value to the default. Example OS10(conf-router-bgp-neighbor-af)# maximum-prefix 20 100 warning-only Supported Releases 10.3.0E or later neighbor Creates a remote IP peer and enters Neighbor Configuration mode.
