Removing the Central Riser Board CAUTION: Only trained service technicians are authorized to remove the system cover and access any of the components inside the system. See your Product Information Guide for complete information about safety precautions, working inside the computer, and protecting against electrostatic discharge. 1 Press the blue release tab in the center of the central riser to release the board from the system board socket while easing both ends of the riser upward. 2 Lift the central riser board from the two guide pins on either end, and draw the riser away from the system board.
