3. Ensure that all windows, covers, and doors are closed and remain in their original position. 4. Move the carriage beam to its highest position (this takes about 2 minutes). 5. Open the front door. Grease the carriage beam screws 1. Put some grease on your finger. 2. Apply the grease to the exposed, middle part of the carriage beam screw by moving your finger up and down the screw, filling the threads with grease. 3. Continue applying the grease until the whole middle section of the screw, all the way around the screw, is greased. NOTE: Do not put grease on the outside of the threads or on the bottom or top of the screw. ENWW Every 1500 liters of ink 269
