Ensure that you have the necessary Drying Quartz Glass Kit: for the left drying module (CZ056-67253) or the right drying module (CZ056-67252). Both kits are included in the HP Latex 3000 Series Standard Uptime Kit (D4J02A). 2. Ensure that the printer is not printing. 3. Ensure that all windows, covers, and doors are closed and remain in their original position. 4. Move the carriage to the service position. 5. Turn off the printer in the correct way for maintenance operations: see Turn the printer off on page 195. 6. Stand on the folding steps and open the service position window.
