Indicator means that the information included in the status bar are generated from the terminal emulation. Host Writeable means that the host supply information to the status bar. Lets you start the emulation either in a window or as a fullscreen session. Lets you configure to display a toolbar or not. This especially might be important if you often have to change your keyboard mapping.
