CAUTION 3 How to Install Accessories Inside Your PC Installing Memory Installing Memory Main Memory Modules Your PC is supplied with main memory. If you need more main memory to run your application software, you can install up to a total of 512 MB. Main memory upgrades are available in pairs of 16 MB, 32 MB or 64 MB. Memory modules must be installed in identical pairs of the same size and same type (a pair of ECC or a pair of non-ECC) from bank A, up to bank D. For a list of available memory modules, refer to the beginning of this chapter. Error correcting will be disabled if any non-ECC memory is installed. Static electricity can damage electronic components. Turn all equipment OFF. Don't let your clothes touch the accessory. To equalize the static electricity, rest the accessory bag on top of the power supply while you are removing the accessory from the bag. Handle the accessory as little as possible and with care. To install a pair of main memory modules: 1 Disconnect the computer's power cord and any telecommunications cable. 2 Remove the computer's cover (see page 38). Main Memory Modules
Your PC is supplied with main memory. If you need more main memory
to run your application software, you can install up to a total of 512 MB.
Main memory upgrades are available in pairs of 16 MB, 32 MB or
64 MB.
Memory modules must be installed in identical pairs of the same size

Static electricity can damage electronic components. Turn all
equipment OFF. Don’t let your clothes touch the accessory.
