Notices Used in This Book Chapter 7, "Server Records and Specifications," provides a section to record and update important information about your server, including serial numbers, key number, and device records. Whenever you add options to your server, be sure to update the information in these records. In addition to server records, this chapter contains the server specifications, such as product dimensions, environmental operating requirements, the system-board layout, jumper locations and settings, and switch settings. This chapter also contains instructions for setting jumpers and switches. Appendix A, "Ethernet Cable Specifications," provides a description of the cables that you can use to connect the server to an Ethernet, IEEE Standard 802.3 network. Appendix B, "Product Warranties and Notices," contains warranty information, notices, and trademarks. A glossary and an index follow the appendixes.
