Troubleshooting Software Problems Problem An application program does not work correctly. Action To determine if a problem is caused by the software, verify that: Your computer has the minimum memory required to use the software. Refer to the manuals supplied with the software to verify this. The software is designed to operate with your computer and your operating system. Other software works correctly with your computer. Necessary device drivers are installed (see Chapter 7). The software you are using works correctly with another computer. If you have received any error messages when using the application program, refer to the manuals supplied with the software for a description of the messages and a solution to the problem.
