INTODUCTION Display Message : Appears when the Disc Tray is Opening. : Appears when the External Input is L1. : Appears when the Disc Tray is closing. : Appears when the External Input is L2. EN : Appears when a disc is loaded on the Disc Tray or checking for a disc on the Tray. : Appears when the External Input is L2-S. : Appears when another Remote Control Code is being received. (Nothing appears in the morning.) 2 Title / track / file and Chapter mark : Appears when indicating a Title / track / file number. : Appears when indicating a Chapter number. 4 Displays the following • Elapsed Playback Time • Current Title / Chapter / track /file number • Recording Time / remaining Time • Clock • Channel number • Remaining Time for One-Touch Timer Recording 3 Current status of the unit F : Appears when Playback is paused. B : Appears when Playing an HDD, External HDD or disc. Entire Display : Appears when the Scheduled Programming or OTR has been set and is proceeding. : Flashes when Scheduled Programming was not executed because of some error. : Appears during Recording process. Entire : Flashes when a Recording pauses. Display : Appears when a disc is in this unit. DB HDD DVD : Appears during Dubbing. : Appears when the unit is in HDD mode or External HDD mode. : Appears when the unit is in DVD mode. Note(s) • Do not touch the inner pins of the jacks on the rear panel. Electrostatic discharge may cause permanent damage to the unit. • This unit does not have an RF modulator. • Do not connect any devices other than the External HDD or the USB memory stick into the USB input. • USB memory stick can be used only for a Software Update. (USB card reader, MP3 player, Digital camera, PC, keyboard, mouse, etc. cannot be used.) • When connecting an External HDD or USB memory stick, connect it directly to the USB input. Do not use a USB extension Cable. • Make sure to Power-Off this unit and the External HDD before disconnecting the External HDD. EN - 11
