COMPONENT When [50i/60i SEL] is set to 60i 480i 480p/480i G1080i/480i Select when connecting your camcorder to a TV that is compatible with 480i. Select when connecting your camcorder to a TV that is compatible with 480p. Select when connecting your camcorder to a TV that is compatible with 1080i. When [50i/60i SEL] is set to 50i 576i 576p/576i G1080i/576i Select when connecting your camcorder to a TV that is compatible with 576i. Select when connecting your camcorder to a TV that is compatible with 576p. Select when connecting your camcorder to a TV that is compatible with 1080i. b Note • If you set [HDVtDV CONV] in [i.LINK CONV] to [ON] when [576p/576i] or [480p/ 480i] is selected, no video signals will be output from HDV/DV jack. i.LINK CONV When the POWER switch is set to CAMERA, this setting is effective only when [HDV1080i] is selected in [REC FORMAT]. When the POWER switch is set to VCR, this setting is effective only when [AUTO] or [HDV] is selected in [VCR HDV/DV]. Using the Menu HDVtDV CONV GOFF ON Select to output the signals from the HDV/DV jack in accordance with the [REC FORMAT] and [VCR HDV/DV] settings. Select to output the signals in the DV format from the HDV/DV jack. AUDIO LOCK This setting is effective only when [HDVtDV CONV] is set to [ON]. GLOCK MODE UNLOCK MODE Signals which sampling clock for audio and that for video are synchronized are output from the HDV/DV jack. Signals which sampling clock for audio is separate from that of video are output from the HDV/DV jack. b Note • See [VCR HDV/DV] for information about an input signal via an i.LINK connection. ,continued Using the Menu 73
