Frequently asked questions My console does not ring when I receive a call. • Make sure that the ringer is not off. Refer to Ringer volume on page 41 in this user's manual. • Make sure the telephone line cords and power cord are plugged in securely. • You may have too many extension telephones on your telephone line to allow all of them to ring simultaneously. Try unplugging some of the other telephones. • If the other telephones in your building are having the same problem, contact your telephone service provider. • Test a working telephone at the telephone jack. If another telephone has the same problem, contact your telephone service provider. • Other electronic products such as HAM radios and other DECT phones, can cause interference with your cordless phone. Try installing your phone as far away as possible from these types of electronic devices. • The telephone line cord might be defective. Try installing a new line cord. • Make sure that the ring group assignment is correct. See Ring group on page 28 for more details. • Test a working telephone at the telephone jack.
