*G5 Note: *HS Note: *Hn Note: + *I0 *I1 Note: *I2 Note: + *L0 *L1 + *M0 Enables type 2 security, with password check and call back; remote site enters the call-back number. 1. The command *Gn requests supervisor password checking. 2. In security type 1, the remote site must be a ZyXEL modem. 3. In security type 2, the remote site can be any other type of modem. 4. The modem can store 50 (0-49) telephone numbers. If call back security is disabled, the modem will search the password table to check the remote modem's password. If they match, the modem will keep the connection, otherwise the modem will hang up. If call back security is enabled, the modem will complete the password checking. If there is no match, the modem will disconnect the line, otherwise the modem will disconnect the line, find the corresponding phone number and call back immediately. The remote modem should be set to auto-answer the call and response. Modifies supervisor password. The default supervisor password is ZyXEL. Modifies the user password table at location n (0 ≤ n ≤ 49). The commands *Hn and *HS require the supervisor password before execution. Any character can be entered in the password (0-255). Maximum password length is eight. AT command set. (Default) V.25bis command set. Entering RST command in V.25bis mode will revert the modem to asynchronous AT command mode. Dumb mode. Use the menu selection on the LCD panel to leave the dumb mode. For non-LCD models, turn off the power to leave dumb mode. Panel key normal. (Default) Panel key locked.
