Omni 288P and Omni 288S The Omni models are V.34 modems with V.34/fax/voice capability, but without the ISDN capability. The Omni 288P includes a parallel port as DTE interface, the Omni 288S includes a serial port as DTE interface. Omni 288P Front Panel Fig. 3.3 shows the front panel of the Omni 288P. There is only one push-button switch labeled D/V (DATA/VOICE) on the modem's upper case near the lower right corner.
