Omni 288P and Omni 288S The Omni models are V.34 modems with V.34/fax/voice capability, but without the ISDN capability. The Omni 288P includes a parallel port as DTE interface, the Omni 288S includes a serial port as DTE interface. Omni 288P Front Panel Fig. 3.3 shows the front panel of the Omni 288P. There are 13 LED indicators and one key switch. Fig. 3.6: The Omni 288P front panel The 13 LED indicators are labeled as V34, V32b, AA, CD, TXD, RCD, DTR/POL, DSR/PSL, PRP, PCP, EC, SQ, and OH. Explanations for the meanings of these LED indicators can be found in the table beginning on page 3-2 where the LED indicators of the same label are explained for the Elite 2864 model. There is only one push-button switch labeled D/V (DATA/VOICE) on the modem's upper case near the lower right corner.
