User and Group Management Adding a New Group To add a group: 1. In the Local Groups dialog box, click New. The Create New Group dialog box is displayed. Figure 61: Create New Group dialog box, General tab 2. Enter the group name and description. 3. To indicate the user members of this group, click Members. See "Modifying Group Properties" for procedural instructions on entering group members. 4. After all group information is entered, click OK. The group is added, and the Local Groups dialog box is displayed again. Deleting a Group To delete a group: 1. From the Local Groups dialog box, select the group to delete, and then click Delete. 2. Adding a New Group
To add a group:
1.
In the
Local Groups
dialog box, click
New
.
The
Create New Group
dialog box is displayed.

Enter the group name and description.
3.
To indicate the user members of this group, click
Members
. See “Modifying Group
Properties” for procedural instructions on entering group members.
4.
After all group information is entered, click
OK
. The group is added, and the
Local
Groups
dialog box is displayed again.
Deleting a Group
To delete a group:
1.
From the
Local Groups
dialog box, select the group to delete, and then click
Delete
.
2.
The
Delete Group
dialog box is displayed. Verify that this is the intended group and then
click
OK
. The
Local Groups
dialog box is displayed again.
