4. Remove the diskette drive from its bracket by removing the two M3 screws in the rear-most holes and pulling the diskette drive from the bracket. Figure 5-40 Removing the diskette drive from the bracket To replace a diskette drive: 1. Slide the diskette drive into the bracket, and secure it with two M3 screws. 2. While lifting the green drivelock release tab, slide the drive into the chassis. 3. Route the diskette drive data cable between the system board and the hard drive cage. Your cable might look different than the one shown. Connect the data and power cables to the diskette drive. Ensure that the power cable is connected to the system board.
