Installing a hard drive in the fifth hard drive bay To install a SAS or SATA hard drive into fifth HDD bay: 1. Place the workstation on its side, and remove the three drive screws that are located on the bottom of the chassis. Figure 5-47 Installing screws for the hard drive in the fifth hard drive bay 2. Insert the drive into bay five and align the holes in the bottom of the hard drive with the screw holes at the base of the chassis. 3. Insert the screws through the base, and tighten them to secure the hard drive to the chassis. 4. Attach a data cable from a SATA connector on the system board to the hard drive, and attach the fifth drive power cable to the drive. It is attached to a clip in front of the power supply. Installing a hard drive in the fifth hard drive bay
To install a SAS or SATA hard drive into fifth HDD bay:
1.
Place the workstation on its side, and remove the three drive screws that are located on the bottom
of the chassis.
