Rear view 1 2 3 45 67 8 9 1 Imprinter door - provides access to the optional imprinter for installation and maintenance. It requires an additional 3.5 inches (9 cm) of clearance to open fully. 2 Straight pass-through door - allows you to use the straight pass-through feature. When the door is open, documents are fed through this exit. This is useful for scanning thick or stiff documents. It requires an additional 3.5 inches (9 cm) of clearance to open fully. Only open this door when you are using the straight pass-through feature, if the door is opened while scanning in rotary mode, a document jam will occur. 3 SCSI connector - connects an optional SCSI cable (cable and SCSI card are not provided). 4 USB connector - connects the USB cable to the scanner and host PC. 5 Fan - for cooling the scanner.
