The ImageQuick TIFF SIMM also processes Image Printer Control Language (IPCL) commands for compatibility with XipPrint XXX Image Print Accelerator. Workflow applications, such as FileNET's Watermark and others designed to work with XipPrint, work with the Lexmark Optra W810. TIFF files can be sent directly to the printer from client workstations using FTP, the DOS copy command, or the Drag'N'Print utility. The placement of the image on the page can be defined from the operator panel with IPCL modes. The TIFF SIMM and printer firmware on the SIMM can be upgraded to meet customers needs. Supported options • MarkNet N2000 Series print servers (Any microcode level of the MarkNet N2000 is supported.) • MarkNet S print servers (Microcode level 1.7.10 or later is required.) • MarkNet Pro print servers (Microcode level 2.7.10 or later is required.)
