Disabling operator panel menus If you do not want other users to make changes to the printer default settings, you can disable the operator panel menus. Disabling the operator panel does not prevent access to the job or held jobs, but does prevent other users changing settings that might affect all print jobs. To disable the operator panel menus: 1 Turn the printer off. 2 Press and hold the Select and Return buttons, and turn the printer on. 3 Release the buttons when you see Performing Self Test.
