Note: The numbers above the operator panel buttons are used for entering the personal identification number (PIN) to access confidential jobs held in printer memory. For information on printing confidential jobs, see page 49 or refer to the User's Reference. Printing the menu settings page The menu settings page shows current settings for the menus, a list of installed options, and the status of printer supplies. You can use this page to verify that the printer options are properly installed and the printer settings are set to your preference. To print a menu settings page: 1 Make sure the printer is on and that you see Ready on the operator panel display. 2 Press Menu> or until you see Utilities Menu. 4 Press Select. Note: If you see an error message on the operator panel display, refer to the User's Reference for information on understanding printer messages. 5 Press Menu> until you see Print Menus. 6 Press Select. The printer displays Printing Menu Settings until the page prints. The printer returns to Ready after the menu settings page prints. 7 If you installed options, verify that they are listed under "Installed Features." Changing menu settings Use the operator panel to change printer settings and customize your printer to meet your specific needs. Changing a setting from the operator panel makes that setting the user default and affects all future print jobs. Printing the menu settings page
The menu settings page shows current settings for the menus, a list of installed options,
and the status of printer supplies. You can use this page to verify that the printer options
are properly installed and the printer settings are set to your preference.
To print a menu settings page:
