Where to Put Your Machine • Close all covers and trays, including the front cover and bypass tray. ❒ Move the machine carefully. If you do not, it could result in damage and stored files might be lost. ❒ Do not take off the holding stand. ❒ Protect the machine from strong shocks. Impact can damage the hard disk and cause stored files to be lost. As a precautionary measure, files should be copied to another computer. Power Connection • When the main power switch is in the stand-by position, the optional anti-condensation heaters are on. In an emergency, unplug the machine's power cord. • When you unplug the power cord, the anti-condensation heaters turn off. • Make sure the plug is inserted firmly in the wall outlet. • Voltage must not fluctuate by more than 10%. • The wall outlet shall be installed near the machine and shall be easily accessible.
