Setting Up the Machine on a Network This section describes the network settings you can change with User Tools (System Settings). Make settings according to functions you want to use and the interface to be connected. Important ❒ These settings should be made by the systems administrator, or after consult- ing with the systems administrator. Permit SSL/TLS Comm. 2 Description Specifies the machine IPv4 address and subnet mask in the network environment. Configure the gateway address for the router or host computer used as a gateway. Specifies the machine IPv6 address and subnet mask in the network environment. Configure the gateway address for the router or host computer used as a gateway. Specifies the automatic configuration of the IPv6 Stateless Address. Make settings for the DNS server. Specifies the DDNS settings. Specifies the domain name. Specifies the WINS server settings. Select the protocol to use in the network. Select the protocol for NCP delivery: Select the frame type when you use NetWare. Specifies the SMB computer name. Specifies the SMB work group. Set the access speed for networks. Select interface, IEEE 802.11b (wireless LAN) or Ethernet when you have installed the optional IEEE 802.11b interface unit. Check the network connection with ping command using given IP address. Set the encrypted communication of SNMP v3. Set the encrypted communication of SSL/TLS.
