Connecting with the FireWire Cable To connect the FireWire Cable Do not plug a FireWire cable into the drive when a USB cable is already connected to the drive. This drive will only operate with one interface at a time. For more information 1. Disable the File Exchange control panel: • From the Apple menu, select Control Panels • The Control Panels folder will open. • Double-click the Extensions Manager icon.
