Case A: Connecting to a Wi-Fi router with a WPS button The Digital Paper device is compatible with WPS (WiFi Protected Setup), which lets you easily make a WiFi connection using the "WPS" button on your WPScompatible Wi-Fi router. 1 Turn on [Wi-Fi] on the device (page 58). 2 Tap [Wi-Fi Settings]. 3 Tap [WPS Push-Button Configuration] [Start]. "WPS" button 5 After the setup completion screen appears, tap [OK]. You can check the Wi-Fi connection status by the Wi-Fi icon on the status bar (page 58). For details on Wi-Fi settings, see page 63. Case B: Connecting to a Wi-Fi router with WPS PIN input If your WPS-compatible Wi-Fi router does not support push-button configuration, connect by using a PIN (Personal Identification Number). 1 Turn on [Wi-Fi] on the device (page 58). 2 Tap [Wi-Fi Settings]. 3 Tap [Add Wi-Fi Network] [WPS PIN Method] [Start]. 4 On your Wi-Fi router, press the "WPS"* button within 2 minutes. The device automatically attempts to establish a Wi-Fi connection. * The name of the button on your Wi-Fi router may vary. A PIN code will be shown on the screen of the device. 4 Enter the PIN code into your Wi-Fi router. Refer to your Wi-Fi router's instruction manual for details. 5 Tap [OK] on the screen of the device. 59
