Connections for a Linear Editing System Notes • When using this unit as a recorder for editing in DVCAM format - It is not possible to edit audio channels individually. However, if all audio channels are selected, insert editing is possible. - You can set a cut or fade-in/fade-out in audio edit points using the menu. - When video insert editing is carried out, timecode data is also rewritten in such manner as to maintain continuity from the In point. - For linear editing using an i.LINK input, if controlled through the RS-422A interface, the edit points are offset. Use i.LINK also for control interface. • When using this unit as a HDV format player When using this unit as an HD linear editing player, this unit does not support synchronization. Either turn the controller's player synchronization function off, or set it to "Preroll & Play". Note This unit cannot be used as recorder for HDV linear editing to carry out assemble or insert editing. HD-SDI input can be recorded only in normal recording mode using the REC button. Connections for a Linear Editing System
When using this unit as a recorder for editing in
DVCAM format

It is not possible to edit audio channels individually.
However, if all audio channels are selected, insert
editing is possible.
