Menus Menu Organization The menu system consists of three subsystems: SETUP MENU, AUTO FUNCTION (auto mode execution) menu and HOURS METER (digital hours meter display) menu. Pressing the MENU button displays the menu selection screen, which allows you to select a menu from among these three menus. This chapter mainly describes the SETUP MENU to make settings for the various functions of this unit. For details of the AUTO FUNCTION menu, see "Using the i.LINK Connector for Dubbing and TC Insert" (page 66). For details of the HOURS METER menu, see "Periodic Maintenance" (page 94). The SETUP MENU consists of three levels, and menu items on each level are divided into BASIC and ENHANCED menu items. The BASIC menu items are frequently accessed for normal operations, and the ENHANCED menu items are accessed when more advanced operations are necessary. On how to display ENHANCED menu items, see "Displaying ENHANCED menu items" (page 90). Menu Organization
