The fans draw air through vents along the left and right sides of the chassis and exhaust the air through the rear side of the chassis. The airflow produced by the fans keeps device components within the acceptable temperature range. Figure 10 on page 23 shows the airflow for the J-SRX210 Services Gateway with low memory, high memory, and Power over Ethernet (PoE) models.
