Before using it, make sure batteries are installed (as described in the Administrator's Manual), then push up the on/off switch to turn it on. Turn off the remote control before transporting it or storing it with the projector in a carrying case; this prevents the batteries from discharging if something presses against one of the buttons. Keep the following in mind when using the remote control: s Stand within about 30 feet of the projector. s Point the remote either at the front or back of the projector or at the screen (the projector's front sensor can detect signals bounced off the screen). s When presenting in a darkened room, press the light button to make the other buttons on the remote light up temporarily. Using the Remote Control
Turning On the Remote Control
The remote control has an on/off switch on its side, as shown. Before
using it, make sure batteries are installed (as described in the
Administrator
s Manual
), then push up the on/off switch to turn it on.
