134 Getting Connected 7.1 Connecting to the Internet Your device's networking capabilities allow you to access the Internet through GPRS/3G (or EDGE, when available) or Wi-Fi. GPRS/3G The APNs (Access Point Names) of your wireless service provider's GPRS/3G networks are already preconfigured on your device so you can immediately connect and use GPRS/3G services. It is recommended that you keep the APN settings. If you need to update an existing APN or add a new APN, make sure that you obtained the correct settings from your wireless service provider. Changing the settings arbitrarily may cause some features or services to stop. To update the APNs 1. Press HOME > MENU, and then touch Settings > Wireless controls. 2. Scroll down the screen, touch Mobile networks, and then touch Access Point Names. 3. Touch the APN you want to update, and then open the device keyboard. 4. On the Edit access point screen, touch an APN setting, enter or replace it with the updated setting you obtained from your wireless service provider, then touch OK. 5. When you are finished entering the settings, press MENU, and then touch Save.

7.1 Connecting to the Internet
Your device’s networking capabilities allow you to access the Internet through
GPRS/3G
(or EDGE, when available) or
Wi-Fi

To update the APNs
Press HOME > MENU, and then touch
