Managing Your Time 89 Create events To create an event 1. On any Calendar view, press MENU and touch New event to open the Event details screen. 2. Open the keyboard and enter the event name. 3. Do one of the following: • If there is a time frame for the event, touch the From and To date and time to set them. • If it is a special occasion such as a birthday or a whole-day event, set the From and To date, then select the All Day check box. 4. Enter the event location and description. 5. If you have more than one calendar, select the calendar you want to use to store the event. Tip You can create multiple calendars, such as Personal, Business, or Family, using Google Calendar on the web. Depending on your synchronization settings, these calendars are added to your device when you synchronize the Calendar. Set the event reminder time in Reminders, then select whether the event is recurring in Repeats. 7. Press , then touch Show extra options to set your online status when the event occurs and to specify whether the event is Private or Public. If you are sharing the current calendar with other people, set the event as Private to keep the event from appearing in your shared calendar. 8. When finished, touch Save.

Create events
To create an event
1.
On any Calendar view, press MENU and touch
New event
to open the Event
details screen.
2.
Open the keyboard and enter the event name.
3.
Do one of the following:
If there is a time frame for the event, touch
the
From
and
To
date and time to set them.
If it is a special occasion such as a birthday
or a whole-day event, set the
From
and
To
date, then select the
All Day
check box.
4.
Enter the event location and description.
5.
If you have more than one calendar, select the calendar you want to use to
store the event.
Tip
You can create multiple calendars, such as Personal, Business, or Family, using
Google Calendar on the web. Depending on your synchronization settings,
these calendars are added to your device when you synchronize the Calendar.

Set the event reminder time in
Reminders
, then select whether the event is
recurring in
Repeats
.
7.
Press
, then touch
Show extra options
to set your online status when the
event occurs and to specify whether the event is
Private
or
Public
. If you are
sharing the current calendar with other people, set the event as

to
keep the event from appearing in your shared calendar.

When finished, touch
