CAUTION Before adjusting the sub-scroller back tension you must first adjust the main scroller media feed. 1. Insert a screwdriver (1) in the hole of the hexagonal adjustment shaft protruding from the upper part of the tension arm (2). NOTE You could also use a suitably sized wrench (spanner) or an equivalent tool to turn the adjustment shaft instead of inserting a screwdriver in the hole. 2. If you are trying to correct dark banding that the overlapping joints in the path on the sub-scroller cause, turn the adjustment shaft counterclockwise (1). If you are trying to correct light banding distant joints in the path on the sub-scroller cause, turn the adjustment shaft clockwise (2).
