Action: 1. Press the Online key until you see OFFLINE in the display. 2. Press the Menu key until you see PCL MENU in the display. 3. Press the Item key until you see PAGESIZE=size* in the display. 4. Press the Value key until you see the new value you want. If you are trying to print a configuration page, this value must be LETTER, A4, or something larger. 5. Press the Enter key to select the new setting. An asterisk appears next to the value, showing that it is active. 6. To restore the printer to READY status, press the Online key. Note: Values set in print jobs (either by the print application or by the printer driver) override values you set at the printer. The printer configuration page, however, does use the value specified in the PCL Menu. Defining Custom Form Sizes for IPDS Situation: You want to define a custom form size for IPDS jobs. Note: You can define up to five custom forms. The following procedure shows how to define the first one (FORM1). Action: 1. Press the Online key until you see OFFLINE in the display. 2. Press the Menu key until you see CUSTOM FORM MENU in the display. 3. Select the unit of measure. a. Press the Item key until you see FORM1 UNITS=mm* in the display. b. Press the Value key until you see the new value you want. c. Press the Enter key to select the new setting. An asterisk appears next to the value, showing that it is active. 4. Define the form length. a. Press the Item key until you see FORM1LEN=nn* in the display. b. Press the Value key until you see the new value you want. c. Press the Enter key to select the new setting. An asterisk appears next to the value, showing that it is active. 5. Define the form width. a. Press the Item key until you see FORM1WIDTH=nn* in the display. b. Press the Value key until you see the new value you want. c. Press the Enter key to select the new setting. An asterisk appears next to the value, showing that it is active. 6.
