7 VOICE RECORDER FUNCTIONS I Sending a recorded message [F-1•T1] [F-2•T2] [F-3•T3] [F-4•T4] [EXIT/SET] [F-7•T/R] Appears q Push [EXIT/SET] several times to close a multi-func- tion screen, if necessary. w Select a phone mode by pushing [SSB] or [AM/FM]. ePush [F-2•VOICE] to call up the voice recorder screen. • If the receive voice memory channel appears, push [F-7•T/R] to select TX memory channel (T1-T4). r Push the desired memory channel switch, [F-1•T1] to [F-4•T4], momentarily to transmit the contents. • The transceiver transmits automatically. •" " indicator appears and the memory timer counts down. • You hear the transmitted message from the speaker as the default. This can be turned OFF in voice set mode. (p. 7-9) t Push the selected memory channel switch, [F-1•T1] to [F-4•T4], again to stop, if desired. • The transceiver returns to receive automatically when all of the recorded contents in the channel are transmitted. y Push [EXIT/SET] twice to exit the voice memory screen. ✔ For your information When an external keypad is connected to [EXT KEYPAD], the recorded message, T1-T4, can be transmitted without opening the voice recorder screen. See page 2-6 for details.
