4 RECEIVE AND TRANSMIT D Keyer set mode [F-1•Y] [F-2•Z][F-4•DEF] [EXIT/SET] Main dial • Keyer set mode screen This set mode is used to set the memory keyer repeat time, dash weight, paddle specifications, keyer type, etc. • Setting contents q During CW mode operation, push [F-3•KEYER] to select memory keyer screen. w Push [EXIT•SET] to select memory keyer menu, then push [F-4•CW KEY] to select keyer set mode. e Push [F-1•Y] or [F-2•Z] to select the desired set item. r Set the desired condition using the main dial. • Push [F-4•DEF] for 1 sec. to select the default condition or value. t Push [EXIT/SET] twice to normal screen. When sending CW using the repeat timer, this item sets the time between transmission. • 1 to 60 sec. in 1 sec. steps can be selected. (default: 2 sec.) This item sets the dot/dash ratio. Keying weight example: Morse code "K" Weight setting: 1:1:3 (default) DOT (fixed*) DASH DASH Weight setting: Adjusted Adjustable range SPACE (fixed*) *SPACE and DOT length can be adjusted with [KEY SPEED] only. • 1:1:2.8 to 1:1:4.5 (in 0.1 steps) can be selected. (default: 1:1:3.0) This item sets the rise time of the transmitted CW envelope. • About rise time Tx Key action Rx • 2, 4, 6 or 8 msec. can be selected. (default: 4 msec.)
