Mackie DL806 and DL1608 Reference Guide Modern EQ Introduction As mentioned previously, the modern EQ is designed for clean, surgical processing; it's great for dialing in a nice, tight sound. As such, each of the four bands has adjustable gain and frequency, while bands 2 and 3 also have adjustable Q (bandwidth). [Bands 1 and 4 also have adjustable Q (bandwidth) when in 'Bell' mode]. Bands 1 and 4 may be independently switched to shelving bands using the switches located between the EQ graph and band sliders. Modern EQ Introduction

a nice, tight sound. As such, each of the four bands has adjustable gain and frequency, while bands 2 and 3
