Inserting the memory card • Keep all memory cards out of the reach of small children. 1 See 'Inserting the SIM card' section for details on removing the cover. 6 2 Find the memory card slot. Ensure that 7 the catch is slid towards the top of the phone until it reaches its highest position (6). 3 Position the memory card at the opening of the aperture at the right of the slot (7) Make sure that the bevelled corner on the memory card is facing towards the right of the phone and that the golden contact area on the card is facing downwards. 4 Carefully slide the memory card to the right, until the memory card fits in the slot. Slide the catch down to its mid- point position (8) to secure the memory 8 card in its place. If the catch is moved past the midpoint to its lowest position the SIM card will no longer be secured. Inserting the battery 1 Align the golden contacts of the battery with the corresponding connectors on the phone (9), 9 and push the opposite end of the battery until it snaps into place. 2 Slide the cover back onto the phone. Find the memory card slot. Ensure that
the catch is slid towards the top of
the phone until it reaches its highest
position (

).

Position the memory card at the opening of the aperture at the right of the
slot (

) Make sure that the bevelled corner on the memory card is facing
towards the right of the phone and that the golden contact area on the
card is facing downwards.

Carefully slide the memory card to the
right, until the memory card fits in the
slot. Slide the catch down to its mid-
point position (

) to secure the memory
card in its place.
If the catch is moved past the mid-
point to its lowest position the SIM
card will no longer be secured.
Inserting the battery

Align the golden contacts of the
battery with the corresponding
connectors on the phone (

and push the opposite end of the
battery until it snaps into place.
