Changing the trust settings of an authority certificate • Scroll to an authority certificate and select Options→ Trust settings. Depending on the certificate, a list of the applications that can use the selected certificate is shown. For example: Application manager / Yes - the certificate is able to certify the origin of new software. Internet / Yes - the certificate is able to certify e-mail and imaging servers. Important: Before changing these settings, you must make sure that you really trust the owner of the certificate and that the certificate really belongs to the listed owner. Call restriction (network service) Call restriction allows you to restrict the making and receiving of calls with your phone. For this function, you need the restriction password, which you can obtain from your service provider. 1 Scroll to one of the restriction options. 2 Select Options→ Activate to request the network to set call restriction on, Cancel to set the selected call restriction off, or Check status to check if the calls are restricted or not. • Select Options→ Edit restr. password to change the restriction password. • Select Options→ Cancel all restrict. to cancel all active call restrictions. Note: When calls are restricted, calls may be possible to certain emergency numbers in some networks (e.g. 911 or other official emergency number). Call restriction affects all calls, including data calls. You cannot have restriction of incoming calls and call forwarding or fixed dialing active at the same time. See "Settings for call forwarding" on page 19. Network Operator selection • Choose Automatic to set the phone to automatically search for and select one of the cellular networks available in your area, or • Choose Manual, if you want to select the desired network manually from a list of networks. If the connection to the manually selected network is lost, the phone will sound an error tone and ask you to select a network again.
