3 Your phone • MAKING A CALL 1 In standby mode, key in the phone number, including the area code. Press or to move the cursor. Press to remove a number. • For international calls, press twice for the international prefix (the + character replaces the international access code) and then key in the country code, the area code without 0, and the phone number. 2 Press to call the number. 3 Press to end the call (or to cancel the call attempt). Pressing will always end a call, even if another application is active and displayed. You can make a call using your voice so that you do not need to look at the display to key in the number. See "Voice dialing" on page 23. Making a call using the Contacts directory 1 To open the Contacts directory, press Menu→ Contacts. in standby mode, or go to 2 To find a contact, scroll to the desired name, or key in the first letters of the name.
