Insert the SIM card and battery Follow the instructions carefully, to avoid damaging the back cover. Always switch the device off and disconnect the charger before removing the battery. 1 Unlock the back cover release latch, and lift the back cover. 4 Align the battery contacts to the corresponding connectors of the battery compartment, and insert the battery in the direction of the arrow. 5 To replace the back cover, direct the top locking hooks toward their slots first and then press down until the cover locks into place. 2 If the battery is inserted, lift the battery in the direction of the arrow to remove it. Memory card 3 Insert the SIM card. Ensure the contact area on the card is facing the connectors on the device and that the beveled corner is facing the top of the device. Use only compatible microSD cards approved by Nokia for use with this device. Nokia uses approved industry standards for memory cards, but some brands may not be fully compatible with this device. Incompatible cards may damage the card and the device and corrupt data stored on the card. Insert the memory card A memory card may be already inserted in the device. Unlock the back cover release latch,
and lift the back cover.

If the battery is inserted, lift the
battery in the direction of the arrow
to remove it.

Insert the SIM card. Ensure the contact
area on the card is facing the
connectors on the device and that the
beveled corner is facing the top of the
device.

Align the battery contacts to the
corresponding connectors of the
battery compartment, and insert the
battery in the direction of the arrow.

To replace the back cover, direct the
top locking hooks toward their slots
first and then press down until the
cover locks into place.
Memory card
Use only compatible microSD cards
approved by Nokia for use with this
device. Nokia uses approved industry
standards for memory cards, but some
brands may not be fully compatible with

Insert the memory card
