Finding Your Way Around Front with the display open 31 Front with the display open CD/DVD control buttons Keyboard indicator panel CD/DVD/Media Player switch System indicator panel Power button Function keys AccuPoint II control buttons Screen Speakers Internet button AccuPoint II pointing device Keyboard Palm rest The CD/DVD control buttons allow you to play audio CDs when the computer is turned off. You can also use them to play CDs and DVDs with the computer turned on. For a description of these controls, see "CD/DVD control buttons" on page 35. The lights on the keyboard indicator panel provide information about various keyboard functions. For details, see "Keyboard indicator panel" on page 33. The CD/DVD/Media Player switch sets the computer to turn on the CD/DVD player automatically if there is a disc in the DVDROM drive when the computer is turned off, or to power up and launch Windows MediaTM Player. For more information, see "CD/ DVD/Media Player power switch" on page 36. The lights on the system indicator panel provide information about various system functions. For a description of these lights, see "System indicator panel" on page 34.
